If your machine service technician threatens to void your service warranty or demands you use only their Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) products: Remember, using our mailroom cartridges will not void your Pitney Bowes/Neopost Service Level Agreement! Even though Pitney Bowes/Neopost may claim that using other ink cartridges can affect your Service Level Agreement, it is actually illegal for them to void the equipment warranty because you used a fully functional and quality aftermarket product.

It’s your choice. The government is on your side, and so are we.

Sale and Supply of Goods to Consumers Regulations (2002):

Under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 traders must sell goods that are as described and of satisfactory quality. The Sale of Goods Act has been amended by the Sale and Supply of Goods to Consumers Regulations 2002 which transpose a European Directive.

The Act provides protection for those who hire goods, or acquire them under hire purchase, or conditional sale and agreements. All buyers are entitled to remedies under the legislation but consumers are entitled to a greater range of remedies. If consumers discover that products do not meet these requirements they can reject them and ask for their money back providing they do so quickly. Alternatively, they can request a repair or replacement or claim compensation.

Our products are extensively tested and guaranteed to work in your machines. We ensure our goods ‘conform to contract’ and are ‘fit for purpose’, meaning they meet OEM specifications and are of comparable and satisfactory quality and will not compromise your machine. The use of our product should not void your service contract. In the unlikely event that your machine is damaged due to the use of our products, under our Warranty, we will reimburse you for the actual (reasonable) costs of repair.
